Album Notes:

This will be Eric's first album produced.  "I've wanted to make an album for about ten years now, but I've just now had the time and energy to finally get one done".  The "Life" album is a collection of songs produced by Eric Flowers (Roc Studios) that he has written over the past several years, and in the recent months. "Song of Proverbs" was written cir. 2004 while attending college at the University of Oklahoma.  The most recent song "October Sunday" was literally written one month prior to release of the album in October of 2012.

Another interesting song is "Twenty Seven" which was written on the first Hammond organ (an S6, one of the cheapest available) that Eric bought for $27.  "People give these kinds of organs away. But I was just getting into the Hammond sound, and was looking on eBay and found one local and bid on it, not having a clue what I was getting in to".  Eric says the chord progression for the song came about because of the way the chord buttons were arranged on the organ.  "These three, minor 7 buttons were next to each other, and I played them and synchronized with a beat in the background.  I made a melody with my right hand, and the song was born".

"This album could not have been completed without the help of my friend Bryan Smith.  He's been a mentor to me since I started playing praise and worship in around 2003".  Bryan Smith is an accomplished guitar player in Tulsa, OK. "He not only knows how to make a guitar sing - but he is educated, and experienced in so many different areas of music and live performance it's ridiculous".

Eric also credits drummer Hugo Gutierrez for his work on the title song, 'life'.  "Hugo has been a friend of mine for years and has been such a good friend.   I am so grateful to him for his help with the song".

Eric also credits God, his wife, and family to the album.  "My strength comes from the Lord.  He is the reason I have what I have, and He is who this album is ultimately for.  My wife has been very patient with me.  I value her opinion on all my music, and ran every track by her as it was completed.  I love her so much.  My kids as well have been very patient too.  I would be trying to mix a song, or trying to record a progression right and they'd come ask for a snack [laughter] and I'd just say 'hang on!' or just realize I need a break and grab them something [laughter]."

The album "Life" became available on November 9th, 2012.  You can find it on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify, Google Play, and many more.
